Our story

Soap By Alina was established in 2022 in Clarenville, NL, Canada

Alina has always had a passion for natural handmade skincare and had a favourite maker back home. As soon as she got her own place in Newfoundland (and a book on soap making for Christmas), she set out to create. From body to dish soap, lip balms, body butter bars, whipped body butter, nail oil, bath and shower bombs. The list is growing. Check it out and get something special for yourself or a loved one!

Made with love and high-quality oils

Each product is made by hand with high-quality base oils, butters and essential oils. Our special pride is local beeswax from Shoal Harbour Valley and Port Blandford. The colorants used are skin-safe and are mineral or plant-based.

Freshly crafted skincare

Always fresh and natural, all Soap By Alina products are intentionally made in micro‑batches — whether soaps, lip balms, body butters, or bath/shower bombs. All bar soaps are suitable for both hand and body washing, with unscented varieties available for sensitive folks. Each bar is infused with silk amino acids

Eco‑conscious and reusable packaging

Products are wrapped in paper where possible. Some are offered in re-usable glass, ceramic, metal or plastic containers. Using bar soap allows one to significantly cut down on plastic waste that ends up in landfills.

Where to buy Soap By Alina

In summer you can find Soap By Alina at local farmer's markets / craft events and small shops. The list of events and stores will be posted at a later date. In Clarenville, pickup or drop-off is available all-year round. Products may be subject to availability. We also take custom orders.
